SMHA Section 8 9/1 to 9/17
The Springfield Metropolitan Housing Authority (SMHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program will accept applications for families who wish to qualify for one, two, three, four, and five bedroom units beginning September 1st through September 17th, 2010. This program provices rental assistance in the private housing market for very-low income families. SMHA will not accept walk-in applications. The R.S.S. Golf Benefit is a fundraiser for Randy Smith of Urbana, Ohio, who has been diagnosed with Thymic cancer. Thymic cancer is of the Thymus gland. The golf scramble will be held on Saturday, September 25th at 8AM at Indian Springs Golf Club, 11111 State Route 161 in Mechanicsburg.
